I’ve spent 20+ years helping organizations, from early-stage startups to public companies, navigate the human side of business.

I turn ambiguity into action, politics into progress, and complexity into momentum. I’m known for asking direct questions, building structure fast, and guiding teams through high-stakes change with clarity and empathy.

I’ve led HR system transformations, built and rebuilt People teams, aligned culture post-acquisition, and supported executives through high-stakes decisions and moments of change.

    My background spans HR, Talent, and Operations. I’ve held VP, SVP, and CPO roles, and for the last seven years, I have run Why Talent, my consultancy focused on contract and fractional HR leadership that moves the needle.

  • I live in South Surrey, BC, with my wife and kids, where I balance family life and the occasional late-night DJ set. I’m a board member, festival organizer and values-driven leader who believes in clarity, context, and culture.
